UCL Network and the Internet via a 'VPN Connection'

To connect to the UCL Network and the Internet via a 'VPN Connection' [Wired RoamNet - various Mech Eng network sockets are configured with this], you will need to use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

This will be pre-installed on pool laptops, but see Connecting to the UCL VPN with Microsoft Windows for instructions on downloading and installing, plus other information.

You will need to use the bt-vpn.ucl.ac.uk option from the Group dropdown menu, as in this image; along with your UCL username and password.

If you use the RemoteAccess option, instead of bt-vpn.ucl.ac.uk, certain applications (such as MS Teams) will not function correctly.
